Fifteen years ago I picked up a fly rod and it changed everything about the sport of fishing for me. I was quickly consumed with the art and challenge of catching fish on the fly. This obsession has taken me all across the country with a fly rod in hand, but the majority of my time has been spent exploring the diverse waters of Pennsylvania.

My approach to guiding is rooted in a deep passion for our local watersheds and a genuine love for people. I have a desire to share the joy of fly fishing while using my experience to get my clients on fish regardless of the season, or weather/ water conditions.

I was born and raised here in central PA. I got the fishing bug while taking yearly trips to the Rideau lakes in Canada with my family, catching pike and largemouth. At home, I became hooked on chasing smallmouth bass in our local creeks and rivers. In 2015 I picked up my first fly rod and have been enamored with the art of fly fishing ever since. In addition to smallmouth, my focus quickly expanded to musky and brown trout and the many opportunities for each that present themselves here in our beautiful region.

While I enjoy a good walk and wade, my true passion is fishing from a boat. I love rowing and being able to put people in an optimal position to catch fish. I love the teamwork aspect of it, and the intrigue of what might lie around the next bend.
